In everyones life a little rain must fall

Well today I as I was scraping the frost off my car windows this morning it hit me ... I miss the crazyness of bloom season. This summer it seemed to me that it rained more than last ( the weatherman says I'm wrong ) I truly enjoy taking photos of my daylilies in the rain. I love love love how the rain drops look on the petals early in the morning. To be in the garden while God is holding a gentle watering can over my own little peace of heaven will make me relax and take a breath smile and know that all is right for that moment in time.

Well I have decided to give this blogging thing a try :)

 Ok here goes nothing!
I will be sharing my thoughts, pictures and adventures in Dayliling with you as often as I can. My garden is Pretty Petals Garden in Xenia Ohio. I share farm space with Sandy and Mike Holmes of Riverbend Gardens. I would like to thank them for all of their guidance, help, support, and most importantly patience in this wild and crazy ride we call Daylilies.

The first picture I am going to share with you is of my wonderful flower H. Nikki Schmith.

I named this flower after my wonderful friend Nikki Schmith . She is also the one responsible for getting me in to this blogging thing lol. Love you Nikki.
